SUP spot Markkleeberger See entrance canoe park

The SUP spot on Lake Markkleeberg near the water sports centre and in front of the canoe park is a suitable spot for beginners to learn stand-up paddling or windsurfing. The access at the surf school has wide meadow areas and a standing area with a sandy beach.

Lake Markkleeberg is located in Leipzig and is one of the largest lakes in Saxony. It covers an area of around 2.78 square kilometres and has a maximum depth of around 42 metres.

Equipment for stand-up paddling can be hired from the water sports centre.
