SUP Spot Forggensee Schwangau in the Allgäu

The SUP spot Schwangau am Forggensee is located in the centre of the beautiful Allgäu region. With an area of 15.2 square kilometres, Lake Forggensee is the largest reservoir in Germany. Thanks to the shallow entry points across a meadow, it is also a good surfing spot for beginners and children to learn stand-up paddling.

With a shoreline length of 30 kilometres, the Forggensee is also suitable for SUP tours. There are several SUP hire stations and a special SUP school for SUP yoga, as well as beautifully located campsites and a number of holiday flats. There is also a special cycle path around the Forggensee.

There is a large, free car park approx. 150 m away at the Karbrücke car park, Deutenhauser Weg and the Brunnen bus stop, Schwangau.
