Boltenhagen - Stand Up Paddling in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

SUP spot Boltenhagen on the Mecklenburg Baltic Sea

On the beautiful Baltic coast of Boltenhagen, you will find shallow and long entrances into the sea and thus a large standing area where even beginners can get along well. The bay is quite sheltered and is also a great spot for windsurfing on strong wind days.

However, there is only a mobile mini hire service with 2-3 SUP boards, so it is an advantage to have your own boards.

The Wohlenberger Wiek surf spot is just under 2 km away, with a surf school and hire on site, also in a large sheltered bay.

The fine sandy beach in Boltenhagen runs for approx. 4.5 kilometres along the Baltic Sea coast. Good infrastructure, but not exactly favourable in terms of parking spaces and restaurants.

The Tarnewitz dog beach is right next door and there are several pitches suitable for camper vans.

The beach and the view are simply beautiful, a very wide sandy beach with lots of greenery in the background.
